New Balance... Made in USA

I recently purchased a new pair of New Balance walking shoes at a local sporting goods chain store. I have been loyal to New Balance for about the past 15 years. After complaining to a friend of mine about how my shoes fit he suggested I try the New Balance and I have been very happy ever since.
Again, recently I purchased a new pair, wore them about a week or so and started having a comfort problem. I was unaware that the number series they use is an identifier of a basic mold. I returned to the chain that sold me the shoes and they said..."can't return worn shoes" regardless of the circumstance leading to the sale(that is a story in itself). I attempted to wear the shoes a few more days but just could not, hurt too much.

Buy Made In America Goods

So I called New Balance. I was greeted by a wonderful customer service rep, I actually thought I could see her smile over the phone, this put me completely at ease. I explained my dilemma and she cheerfully said "if i return the shoes I purchased she will send me the new version of my old shoes".

Too my surprise, before I could get a chance to return my shoes to New Balance a new pair was delivered to my home. God I love American made products. Another fact I found was that New Balance has factory owned stores, and New Balance is a family owned American company. 

The price you pay for quality... great product, great service and keeping Americans working.

USOC... You Suck... I Boycott.

Well this should not be a shock to us all, as we are in the midst of the "china takeover" that has been going on for the past decade or so. Ralph Lauren sells out for a few more dollars to parade our best athletes around in his version of a communist look-a-like uniform made in the king of a communist nation... china.

Seriously, who consulted on the uniforms... Kim... Kim jong un! That's what it looks like to me. Aside from Lauren trying to make the most profit possible and the outfit looking a bit communistic, does it have any other inspiring quality... NOT. At this point it does not matter what it looks like, its chinese 100%. The only American to profit from it is Ralph, who is looking a bit like Ralph Kramden right now, no I'm not comparing the two, Kramden is sweet and cuddly and always tries to do the right thing and Kramden would never EVER insult the America the way Lauren has done.

So I went through my closet to re-check the labels on my polo shirts, they are quite old and did not have a "made in" label. The other polo item I use is the blue cologne, no china on the bottle just USA and Paris. But still I feel no matter what I buy, if its a Polo brand, the money will find its way to china.

I have tried to contact the USOC (US Olympic Committee) and to tell the truth they don't give a damn. I called my Senators offices and sent them emails. I called the White House and "left a message" for Mrs. Obama to weigh in on this issue and also sent an email to the White House. I found a list on the USOC web sight that lists all its supporters, and I called all the ones that produce Items I use. Kellogg seemed the least interested that I have been eating Corn Flakes all of my life so after 55 years its time for change, they don't care. Diet Coke on the other hand was very interested in my opinion, and so was McDonald's... they were both very interested and asked if it was OK to have a superior call me back! I posted my concern on FaceBook and joined a "Boycott Group." I know its not much to Kellogg's to lose me as customer but It makes me feel better that I am trying.

How can this "NOT" be an issue that every American should be involved with, as reported by CBS news, if Olympic uniforms and apparel are made in America it would keep ONE BILLION dollars in America and create countless jobs. With unemployment hovering around 8-10% nationwide, I would think keeping that amount of money at home would be monumental.

So lets see congress... If you take steroids you get called in front of a congressional committee, if you give a communist, baby killing nation a billion dollars nothing, no committee, no senator wearing a communist made chinese uniform on the senate floor... I wonder where the hoodie was made that made its way to congress?

Finally Justice for Blago!!!

14 years may not be enough, as I feel confident other politicians are right now scheming to lie, cheat, and steal as is the rich history on Illinois politics. It sucks to be one of the few that get caught. I'm sure its not over, I feel this just decision will be brought into question and be overturned.

I cannot believe people feel sorry for Blago, He is a crooked politician, so I can only assume the bleeding hearts are in support of criminal activity(birds of a feather). As for his kids, consider them lucky they will not be reared by a criminal. Seriously, are kids better off being raised to lie and cheat or to be without a father. I would think DCFS should investigate, I'm convinced other parents have had their kids taken from them who have not been on a crime spree as encompassing as Chicago's own Bonnie & Clyde. Patty belongs in the cell next to him!

If I had a vote on his punishment, I would suggest he be put in solitary confinement. He likes to spew bullshit and I would think after a year or so of him listening to his own lies he will realize what he sounds like.

"Idiot Rage"

How many different "rage" labels are they going to come out with? Just a few I found on the net are: road rage, air rage, office rage, desk rage, work rage, bike rage, trolley rage, rage rage rage rage rage rage rage rage, its the the latest "rage."

If it walks like a duck...
In every "rage" case there is one common denominator, without doubt every incident of "rage" is caused by "That Idiot." On a flight from Buffalo you became upset because the sky was so blue you had to start a fight with the flight attendant and on the drive home from the airport you think OMG the pavement is too hard, it was so hard I had to relieve my rage by running the guy driving next to me off the road! NO NO NO NO NO its "That Idiot" that causes all the problems. Seriously, do we all not get so mad at "That Idiot"

Steven Slater- Hero or Fall Guy

Every news outlet on the net is trying to sensationalize the story of Steven Slater, the flight attendant that "flipped out."
It sickens me every time I read a story like this, a story that starts in the middle or at the end, come on press "from the start please". Not one story I read has anything to say about the offender that caused the incident as is the case in most of the half truth stories the press releases.
From all the stories lines I have read this is what I pieced together, and again it is not from one story but bits I put together from several different stories: the flight attendant asked a passenger to remain seated until the plane comes to a stop before removing his overhead stored luggage, the passenger said f*** you and smacked the attendant on the head with his luggage (accidentally or on purpose should not matter, he was doing something he should not be doing) causing the attendants head to bleed, at this point the attendant decided he had had enough crap (handed out by ignorant people that expect far more then they deserve) and made his announcement, took a brew for the road, and made a dramatic exit."
I would be willing to bet 10:1 that if the flight attendant was a woman, the "f" bomb passenger would not of left the plane unharmed by other passengers.
So, what is the story on the "passenger that threw the first punch", whats his name, how much time did he think he was going to save, how big of an idiot is he, is he going to be prosecuted? I'm guessing none of these questions will ever be answered!

What is an American

This is a copy of an eMail sent to me by a very dear friend(thanks "T"), I have read it over and over and each time I read it I seem to find something I missed the time before and in all honesty it chokes me up! I am not sure who the original author is or how many different edits it has gone through but its seems the heart of its meaning has not changed.

To Kill An American
A report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper, an offer of a reward "To Kill An American", any American. An Australian wrote an editorial to let everyone know what an American is, so they would know when they found one. (Good one, mate!)

What is an American
'An American is English, French, Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek, an American is also Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, Arab, Pakistani or Afghan, and an American is also Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans.

An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan. The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses. An American is also free to believe in no religion. For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world.
The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence, which recognizes the God given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.

An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return. When Afghanistan was over-run by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country! As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan.

The quote on the national symbol of America, The Statue of Liberty reads:

These in fact are the people who built America.

Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better life for their families. It's been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and some first languages included those that aided and abetted the terrorists.

So you can try to kill an American if you must. Hitler did, General Tojo, Stalin, Mao Tse-Tung, and other blood-thirsty tyrants in the world tried. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself. Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American.

And to add insult to immigration.... some AMERICAN students in the great state of California were sent home from school, because they were wearing tee shirts that had the American flag printed on them, on a holiday of a foreign country. WHAT! A kids in a tee proudly displaying his national symbol of freedom, in his own country(America if you can't keep up), chastised for displaying the American flag. WHAT THE FUCK is going on in America... has hitler risen from the dead, have communist overrun Washington, is it true Obama is not an American? NO, NO and NO, it is just a mother fucker that does not like America. Could he be an illegal or just an asshole. Really not much difference between the two. I'm going to take a wild guess at this... he is homesick, longing for the "good old days" ohhhh to be hungry, thirsty, in need of medical attention, unemployed, uneducated, and oppressed. Yes he loves and misses the lifestyle many past generations desperately escaped to give future generations a better way of life. I am amazed at what aliens do to the America that provides them with all they cannot get in their beloved native land. I am very proud of my heritage and I hope to always have that identity but I would fight to the death for my America as many millions before me have done. This is a true story as reported on FOX news. This man really does exist. It was reported he is a high school assistant principal, apparently California does not check references . Is this really the person we want leading future American leaders? Freedom of speech is one thing but this seems to be treason. He has not only betrayed America but he has slapped the face of every American living and dead, he has been allowed to say "fuck you" to every veterans living and dead that have fought to give us our freedom. Fuck him and his family, fuck him and the country he escaped from, I have taken this slap personally, FUCK HIM. Hey Miguel, if you want to talk about this more just look me up. I want to see him raise his hand to slap my face...... come on Miguel call me "lets talk".

Make it "LEGAL"......a few thoughts for now

JUST SO I UNDERSTAND THIS...YOU PASS THE NORTH KOREAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET 12 YRS HARD LABOR, YOU PASS THE AFGHAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET SHOT. YOU PASS THE AMERICAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET A JOB(BY TAKING ONE AWAY FROM A LEGAL AMERICAN), DRIVER'S LICENSE, ALLOWANCE FOR A PLACE TO LIVE, HEALTH CARE, EDUCATION, BILLIONS OF DOLLARS SPENT SO YOU CAN READ A DOCUMENT, ALL AT THE EXPENSE OF LEGAL TAX PAYING AMERICANS. WE CARRY PASSPORTS IN OTHER COUNTRIES OR FACE JAIL TIME. WE NEED TO TELL OBAMA WE DO NOT WANT OUR TAX DOLLARS SPENT ON AND IN SUPPORT OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

Yes we are all aliens to this country, with the exception of native Americans. The people that have legally immigrated to America have done so at their expense, not at the expense of the legal tax payer. A very time consuming process in many cases that involved travel back and forth from their native land. They were not handed a free ride, they educated themselves to learn the language and customs of the America they want to belong to and be a part of. Every illegal must be deported, of course at the expense of the legally immigrated immigrant. Allowing them to legally apply to become a LEGAL AMERICAN.

"NOT" made in America

Whenever I shop, my first criteria in choosing an item I want to purchase is by country of origin. If I select an item and it is "NOT" made in America, I will scour the shelves looking for that "Made in USA" label. Recently I was in the market for a set of drill bits for wood. I went to the local Home Depot and found a wall full of all types and styles of drill bits. I must have picked up a hundred different packages and could not find one drill bit that is "Made in America". I asked a sales associate "do you know which bits are made in America", and without hesitation he answered "NONE, none are made in America". It was disturbing enough that there was not one American made drill bit but to twist the knife and push it in deeper, every bit I examined was made in china. If you are clueless, china is a communist nation. China supported communist nkorea during the korean war in witch over 50,000 American and 5,000 allied soldiers were killed(as reported by The History Channel). I got a little hot and I found the store manager. His attitude was "SO WHAT, WHO CARES", and he said you don't have to buy it. It really made me feel like a good American screaming at him calling him a F*****G commie.
As more aliens invade the USA this is the growing attitude in general. Do not let china win this war on our soil. F*** Home Depot, F*** china. Send a message to Home Depot, tell them you do not want products that are"Not Made in America".
